
Aileen Chang, MD
Aileen Chang, MD, is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco. She is the Director of Dermatology Research at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). She was the Founding Director of the ZSFG Dermatology Consult Service, 2017-2024.
Dr. Chang’s research is rooted in improving health and health outcomes in dermatology for all populations. Dr. Chang examines the impact of social and structural factors on the development, clinical presentation, and treatment of skin conditions using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches. She has also led interdisciplinary projects to improve lymphedema and wound care and dermatology capacity in low-resource settings.
