We provide outstanding clinical care for our local and broader communities, serving patients of all ages and backgrounds with common and rare skin problems. In addition to adult and pediatric general dermatology clinics and a dermatologic surgery and laser center, we also have several nationally renowned subspecialty clinics.
We offer a second-to-none residency training program with both clinical and research-intensive tracks, as well as many post-residency fellowships. Our diverse trainees have gone on to become national and community leaders.
UCSF Dermatology’s robust research programs rank among the world’s best, addressing key problems in skin biology and disease at the levels of the basic, translational, and clinical sciences. Our research faculty are also engaged in innovative work in public policy, public health, and epidemiology.
