Numerous forms of insurance, including MediCal, are accepted at the UCSF Dermatology Practices. Please have your insurance information available when you call to make your appointment. An authorization may be required by your medical group or insurance company for your visit to UCSF Dermatology. Please check with your insurance company regarding their requirements. Bring a copy of the insurance authorization with you to your appointment.

Uninsured patients can be seen, but will be asked to pay their full bill at the time of service. The Department of Dermatology follows the University of California, San Francisco guidelines regarding discounted care.
