There are several practices in Dermatology which manage Melanoma.
To identify the correct practice, the thickness of the primary
Melanoma is required.
- If the Melanoma was 1.0mm or less, then an appointment in
the Pigmented Lesion
Practice is appropriate.
- If the Melanoma is 1.0mm or greater, if there is evidence
of recurrence or metastases, or if the Melanoma is of unusual
circumstance (arising in a congenital nevus, for example), then
an appointment should be made in the High
Risk Melanoma Practice.
